Description

Since Villány is the home of full-bodied, fiery, premium red wines, we must study the rosé wines produced here through this lens. Therefore, Villány rosé is a special genre where, alongside capturing ripe, fruity, aromatic, fresh flavors in the bottle, the alcohol content cannot be excluded. As a result, we get a fuller, more robust wine, similar to the great French rosés, sometimes exceeding 13% alcohol by volume. It is born from the blending of the estate's most characteristic varieties, sourced from multiple vineyards, with its backbone always provided by the Kékfrankos grape.

Tasting notes

Günzer Rosé presents a light pink hue with aromas of strawberries, raspberries, cherries, and subtle citrus notes. The palate is crisp with red berries, peach, and melon flavors, complemented by a delicate minerality. It has a clean, smooth finish and pairs well with light salads, seafood, and grilled vegetables.
