Philosophy
As a family winery in Villány, we see wine as the shared work of nature and people.
Our sole aim is to make clean, varietally expressive wines that faithfully reflect each vintage. We believe wine should give a sense of reassurance — the feeling that you can always trust what is in the bottle. That is why all our work is founded on clarity, precision, balance and consistency of style.
With careful hands

Our commitment begins with the careful selection of grape bunches.
Hand harvesting is essential to quality, ensuring that only the healthiest bunches reach the cellar.
Gentle destemming
A kézzel szüretelt fürtöket egy kíméletes bogyózóval óvatosan leszedjük a kocsányról, ügyelve arra, hogy a bogyók ne sérüljenek. Az így kapott szemek egészben maradnak amely fontos eleme a bogyóválogatásnak.
Berry selection
Az egész bogyók rázóasztalra kerülnek, ahol két munkatársunk a szüret idején kézzel válogatja őket. A folyamat során válogatásra kerülnek a nem oda illő elemek, mint a sérült bogyók, levelek, kocsánymaradványok, bogarak, így csak a tökéletes bogyók kerülnek be a tartályba erjesztésre.
1990 - A kezdetek
We founded the winery with just half a hectare of vines and a capacity of 1,500 bottles. In the first vintages, enthusiasm and manual work made up for what technology could not yet provide — this is where the Günzer story began.
1995 – Új borászati üzem
Megépült az első, 400 négyzetméteres borászati üzemünk, amely már lehetőséget adott a tudatosabb borkészítésre.
Ez az év mérföldkő volt: a kézi munka mellé megérkezett a technológiai fejlődés, ami új szintre emelte a birtokot.
2004 – Az Ördögárok dűlő
The Ördögárok vineyard was created through an enormous effort involving the movement of more than one million cubic metres of earth. It remains an iconic part of the estate, and its unique position and character continue to shape the style of our wines.
2006 – A Bocor dűlő
Kisharsányban, a borvidék egyik meghatározó települése felett telepítettük a Bocor dűlőt, amely 8 hektárral a birtok legnagyobb egybefüggő területévé vált - otthont adva a Kékfrankos és a Portugieser fajtáinknak.
2012 – Selection taken to a new level
Megérkezett az új, kíméletes bogyóválogató rendszer, amellyel teljesen átalakult a feldolgozásunk folyamata. A technológia lehetővé tette, hogy a már addig is tiszta boraink még precízebbek, fajtajellegesebbek és letisztultabbak legyenek.
2015 – A Jammertal dűlő
By expanding and replanting our existing plots in Villány’s oldest vineyard, we created an impressive, continuous estate area. The Jammertal vineyard remains one of the wine region’s noblest sites and is home to our premium wines.
2020 – Új borászati üzem
As the largest investment in our company’s history, we built a new 1,200-square-metre winery facility. Its modern tanks and spacious processing areas allow us to work in calm, precise conditions.

Napelemek használata
We have installed a solar-panel system above our winery that covers our annual energy needs. This means we do not use fossil fuels and also reduce our carbon-dioxide emissions. The panels generate clean, renewable and affordable electricity, supporting our sustainability goals.
Energia saját erdőből
A fűtést teljes egészében saját erdőből származó fával végezzük, amelyet mindig újratelepítünk. Így nem csak melegen tartjuk a borospincéket és a vendégeinket, hanem fenntartjuk az erdő ökológiai egyensúlyát is. A faanyagot saját munkaerővel dolgozzuk fel, így támogatva az emberi munkaerő ésszerű felhasználását a téli hónapokban.
Növényvédelem esővízből
We collect rainwater from the entire roof area of our winery in an underground reservoir designed specifically for this purpose.
This volume covers our annual needs, so we do not use any mains water for plant protection.
Packaging
We use mainly recycled materials for our packaging to help protect the environment.
Our wine bottles and cardboard boxes are made from recycled glass and paper and are suitable for further recycling. Our bottles are also made from lightweight glass, reducing the additional pollution associated with transport.
