Brandy XO 20yrs (Hors D'Age Superior)

Heritage. Memory. A new beginning — captured in a bottle.

The story of this special brandy began in 2005, when a fire destroyed one of the buildings of our winery. The roof structure burned down completely. Only one tank remained intact in the room, holding a 2003 Hárslevelű. Standing between loss and rebuilding, we decided not to let the surviving wine go, but to give it a new life: to distil it and let time speak through it.

 

It was placed into three oak barrels and rested quietly for 20 years. Over the decades, the barrels breathed, alcohol and water slowly evaporated — the angels took their share — and the spirit became deeper, nobler and rounder with every month.

 

What is bottled today is more than a drink: it is a story that fire tried to stop, but time completed.
