Mi the the Ördögárok vineyard tour?
The Ördögárok vineyard tour is one of the most special Villány wine programs of the Günzer Family Estate: a guided off-road experience where nature, wine and family story meet.
The tour starts from the Günzer Family Estate in our winery’s own off-road vehicle. Comfortable benches have been built on the back of the vehicle for our guests, so this is not a walking excursion but a special vineyard tour among the Villány vine rows. On the way, we pass several iconic Villány sites, including Jammertal, Csillagvölgy and finally Ördögárok, which many consider one of Villány’s most impressive vineyards.
The Ördögárok vineyard covers more than 20 hectares and was created by moving one million cubic metres of earth. Today it is still one of the most valuable and characterful areas of our estate. Its special microclimate and southern exposure help produce our deepest and most complex wines.
Practical information
The Ördögárok vineyard tour starts from at the Günzer Family Estate and returns here at the end of the program. Address: 7773 Villány, Oportó utca 6. The tour takes place in our winery’s own off-road vehicle fitted with a comfortable bench. This is not a walking program: we drive up to the Ördögárok vineyard on dirt roads between the vine rows. We take glasses and wine with us, so you can taste how the landscape, the wine and Günzer story connect on site.

During the tour, we talk about at the Günzer Family Estate, the role of Ördögárok, the wines and how our family’s work is connected to this site. It is a personal, guided program where we show Villány a little more closely.
