Lezser Fehér is a bold, youthful cuvée: a blend of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Sauvignon Blanc from the Siklós side of the Villány–Siklós wine region. Here, the limestone-poor soils and acid structure are ideal for these two world-famous varieties. Harvest takes place in early September; the varieties ferment separately and are blended without malolactic fermentation. The two varieties keep “playing” in the wine: sometimes the freshness of Sauvignon comes forward, sometimes the roundness of Chardonnay. A clean, fruity and exciting wine from the Lezser family.
