What is the Ördögárok vineyard tour?
The Ördögárok vineyard tour is one of the Günzer Family Estate’s most distinctive wine programs in Villány: a guided off-road experience where nature, wine and family history meet.
The tour departs from the Günzer Family Estate in our winery’s own off-road vehicle. Comfortable benches have been installed on the rear platform for our guests, so this is not a walking excursion but a special journey among the vine rows of Villány. Along the way, we pass several iconic Villány areas, including Jammertal, Csillagvölgy and finally Ördögárok, which many consider one of Villány’s most impressive vineyards.
The Ördögárok vineyard covers more than 20 hectares and was created by moving one million cubic metres of earth. It remains one of our estate’s most valuable and distinctive sites. Its special microclimate and southerly exposure help produce some of our deepest and most complex wines.
During the tour, you can discover grape growing at close range, learn about the differences between Villány’s vineyards and understand the work behind Günzer wines. We conclude at a beautiful panoramic viewpoint with a glass of wine in hand and the full beauty of Villány spread out before you.

Practical information
The Ördögárok vineyard tour departs from the Günzer Family Estate and returns here at the end of the program.

The tour takes place in our winery’s own off-road vehicle, fitted with a comfortable bench designed for this purpose. It is therefore not a walking program: we drive to the Ördögárok vineyard on dirt roads between the vine rows.
We take glasses and wine with us on the tour. The program includes a tasting of two wines, so we do not only talk about the vineyard and the wines; you can also taste on site how the landscape, the wine and the Günzer story come together.
The vehicle can carry a maximum of 18 people. The program lasts approximately one and a half hours.
The terrain may cause jolting, so the program is not recommended for guests with back or spinal problems.
Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the scheduled time so we can begin promptly.
The vineyard tour is an outdoor, weather-dependent program. In poor weather, heavy rain, strong winds or conditions affecting the safety of the terrain, we may need to modify or cancel the tour. In that case, we will of course discuss the available options with you.
If you would also like to reserve a table for a wine tasting or meal after the Ördögárok vineyard tour, we recommend booking a Table Reservation / Wine Tasting time two hours after the tour’s departure.
