the complete wine experience in Villány
Wine & Valley is the complete Villány wine experience of the Günzer Family Estate: wine tasting, Ördögárok vineyard tour, shared meal, homemade strudel and a relaxing morning where we show Villány not only from the glass, but also from the vineyards.
What is Wine & Valley?
Wine & Valley is the Günzer Family Estate's complex wine experience in Villány. It is aimed at those who would not just come for a short wine tasting, but would like to get to know our wines, the atmosphere of our vineyards, the special world of Ördögárok and our family hospitality within a program.
The program starts with a wine tasting at the estate, then we go up to the Ördögárok vineyard by SUV, where we show Villány not only from the glass, but also from the vineyard rows and the panorama. After the vineyard tour, we return to the Günzer Family Estate, where the experience continues with a set table, a roast platter prepared with wines, confit meats, homemade strudel and other items.
This is not a rushed program. The point of Wine & Valley is to have time to arrive, taste, chat, go up to the vineyard, and then sit back down at the table. A more complete Villány wine experience for those who want the landscape, food, story, and family atmosphere behind the wines to appear.

Practical information
Wine & Valley is available by advance booking and is currently held on Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00.
We hold the program before regular opening hours so our attention can be entirely devoted to our guests. It is a direct, personal wine experience at the Günzer Family Estate, with time to taste, ask questions, talk, visit the Ördögárok vineyard and then return to the table.
Bookings for the Saturday Wine & Valley program are accepted until Wednesday evening. This allows us to prepare the roast platters, confit meats, homemade strudel and the complete program in good time. The program runs with a minimum of 6 participants. If the minimum number has not been reached by Wednesday evening, we will notify you by email on Thursday morning that the program has been cancelled.
The maximum group size is 18, as this is the capacity of the off-road vehicle used for the Ördögárok vineyard tour. If several separate groups book the same date, guests will be seated together at one table. Wine & Valley is a direct, personal program with the winemaker; we see the morning as a shared wine experience rather than a closed event with separate private tables.
Program schedule
After arrival, the program begins with a wine tasting. Wine & Valley includes an eight-wine tasting, during which you can ask about the wines, the vineyards, the family estate and how Günzer wines are made.
After the tasting, the program continues with an approximately one-and-a-half-hour Ördögárok vineyard tour. We then return to the Günzer Family Estate, where a laid table, roast platter, confit meats, homemade strudel and further wines await. The program ends at around 14:00.
Important information about the Ördögárok vineyard tour
The Ördögárok vineyard tour is operated in our winery’s own off-road vehicle, fitted with a comfortable bench designed for this purpose. It is not a walking program: we drive to the Ördögárok vineyard on dirt roads between the vine rows.
The tour may involve jolting, so it is not recommended for guests with back or spinal problems.
In poor weather, instead of the Ördögárok vineyard tour we visit the cellar, so the personal part of the program connected to the estate and winemaking is not lost. In this case, the cellar, the wines and the story of the estate take the place of the vineyard.

A deposit of HUF 5,000 per person is payable when booking. The remaining balance can be paid on site by card or in cash.

If you want to experience as much of Villány as possible during a weekend, Wine & Valley is a well-structured program: wine tasting, vineyard tour, food, strudel and the atmosphere of the estate, all in one morning.
Would you prefer only a wine tasting?
Wine Tasting in Villány
Wine & Valley is a more complete, multi-part program with a wine tasting, an Ördögárok vineyard tour, a laid table, roast platter and homemade strudel. If you would currently prefer a shorter, more traditional Villány wine tasting, the Wine Tasting in Villány program is the better choice.
There, with advance booking, you can choose a Classic tasting or a Premium tasting. It is a good solution if you have less time, want a simple introduction to Günzer wines or would like to drink wine with us without the vineyard tour and meal.
